Jon and Debra Martin
|
Wearing both hats directing church health and church multiplication, provides many opportunities to serve our District family. A key person serving alongside me has been my wonderful bride of 27 years, Debra, currently serving as the Church Health and Multiplication Administrative Assistant. We have had both personal and ministry joys and privileges in stateside churches (PA), on the mission field (England) and now in the Northeastern District Office. Many of the seminars I offer have been tremendously enhanced by Debra's publisher passion gift. I also highly value the excellent rapport and input of the CMTeam (Church Multiplication Team). We meet four times a year to review and stategize the work of this vital ministry in the District. In 2009, the CMTeam prayed specifically for additional church planting initiatives to which the Lord opened some very unique doors. Offering initial start up funds, the CMTeam was able to partner with local churches to reach a portion of the mission field the Lord placed in local communities.
Regarding Church Health, an emphasis has been: "Healthy Pastors, pastor Healthy Churches." To that end, you will see an assortment of ministry tools that have been developed and are being utilized to encourage pastors and church leaders.
As the resource page is further developed and maintained and resources are acquired and evaluated they will be posted for your convenience.
As you can see, Church Health and Multiplication covers a significant area of District ministry. Additional resources are needed to meet those Divine appointments but our first step always needs to be prayer.

"Prayer is the primary work of the people of God" "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6,7 |
I look forward to ways the Office of Church Health and Multiplication can come alongside you and the ministry the Lord has called you to serve in the Northeastern District either through presenting seminars, speaking engagements, sharing a District greeting on a Sunday morning, or in sharing prayer requests. I would welcome being placed on your prayer sheets as I travel and minister in the District.
Together in the joy of His service,
Rev. Jon Martin Director of Church Health and Multiplication |
